Established 1924 – A Legacy of Excellence
Florence Country Club was founded in 1924 and has proudly served as a cornerstone of the Florence community for over a century. While the original architect remains unknown, the 18-hole golf course was crafted in the classic Donald Ross style, thoughtfully utilizing the natural contours of its scenic 77-acre site.
With a rich history spanning generations, FCC has long been a hub for golf, tennis, and vibrant social activities, offering members a welcoming and enduring club experience.

FCC has proudly contributed to the careers of many notable players, including Buddy Baker, 1958 USGA Junior Amateur Champion and one of eight South Carolina Golf Hall of Fame members affiliated with our club.
