Junior Golfing at Florence Country Club

Florence Country Club offers a unique and thriving year-round junior program, for beginner 4 year olds to 18 year old High School standouts. We offer summer and winter camps, as well as weekly clinics, and private lessons. Our advanced programs will have the opportunity to qualify for our junior team which will compete against other thriving clubs statewide. To help enhance the junior program, the Paul Davis Jr. Locker Room was created. Juniors must pass basic but pertinent etiquette and rules questions, show good sportsmanship, and pass a playability test to get their own locker.

Our junior program is headed up by Andrew Norris who serves as Director of Instruction and Junior Golf. Andrew is originally from Massachusetts and went to college at Methodist University in Fayetteville, NC where he went through the Professional Golf Management program. After graduating with his PGA membership, he went to the instruction side of the business. He has previously worked at a Top-100 golf course, high-level golf academy and most recently as the Director of Instruction at Prestonwood CC in Dallas, TX for the past 3.5 years. He is very excited to be here in Florence and is ready to help all members improve their golf game!
