Florence Country Club is proud to offer its members and guests access to an exceptional 18-hole Donald Ross–style golf course, known for its timeless design and challenging play.
Our golf program continues to grow with exciting tournaments, inclusive events, and fun for all ages and skill levels. We offer a variety of group play options, including:
Whether you’re looking for competitive play or a relaxing round with family, there’s something for everyone.
In 2020, the Club introduced an indoor teaching center equipped with advanced technology to help players fine-tune their game. The facility also includes a junior locker room, reinforcing our commitment to youth development.
The Golf Course at Florence Country Club is a very traditional old style layout that features fairways framed with beautiful oaks and pines combined with a distinct amount of elevation change. With this being said, thanks to the support of the membership, the golf course has “kept up with the times” with improvements. Over the past years a new double row irrigation system has been installed, the greens have been covered to one of the hybrid Bermudas, bunkers were rebuilt and redesigned, teeing areas leveled and enlarged, and some trees removed to enhance the growth of the greens.
To reaffirm the respect that this course has throughout the southeast, there’s no need to look further than the events hosted.
We here at Florence Country Club are very honored to have some great ties with what we would consider Golf Legends in the golf industry. These individuals have at one point or another crossed paths with Florence Country Club. They could have been a member leaving their legacy for our future Junior golfers or an instructor trying to teach their passion to others. For that, we thank them for their contribution to this game.
